TotalEnergies and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline Company (EACOP) have consolidated their Uganda operations at RR Pearl Tower One in Kampala’s central business district, a move aimed at improving coordination and operational efficiency as the country’s oil projects gather pace.
The relocation brings together TotalEnergies EP Uganda, TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda, and EACOP under one roof, ending years of fragmented operations across different parts of the city. Previously, TotalEnergies EP Uganda and EACOP operated from Course View Towers on Yusuf Lule Road, while TotalEnergies Marketing and Services Uganda was based in the Industrial Area along 8th Street.
Company officials said the consolidation is intended to strengthen collaboration between technical, commercial and project management teams, streamline decision-making and support more integrated execution of Uganda’s oil and gas projects.
RR Pearl Tower One, a modern commercial property owned by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, offers energy-efficient office space, flexible layouts and shared meeting facilities designed to support large corporate teams. The building aligns with sustainability standards consistent with TotalEnergies’ global operational practices.
Its central location is expected to improve accessibility for government officials, regulators, financiers, contractors and other stakeholders involved in Uganda’s upstream and midstream petroleum developments.
The move comes as TotalEnergies advances the multi-billion-dollar Tilenga oil project and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, two flagship developments underpinning Uganda’s ambition to become a commercial oil producer. Housing all teams in one location is expected to enhance coordination and support the next phases of project development and construction.
With RR Pearl Tower One now serving as a central operational hub, TotalEnergies and EACOP are positioning themselves to sustain momentum as Uganda’s oil and gas sector moves steadily toward production.
