Kampala — The Ruparelia Group is preparing to officially unveil a major expansion of Kabira Country Club, in a development expected to redefine luxury hospitality and executive living in the capital.

Rising prominently in Bukoto, the multi-level complex represents one of the most ambitious upgrades in the club’s history. Long established as a leading destination for leisure, fitness and accommodation, Kabira Country Club is now positioning itself as a fully integrated lifestyle and business hub targeting Kampala’s growing high-end market.

The new structure features bold geometric lines, expansive glass façades and terraced balconies that blend contemporary design with a resort-style tropical ambience. The architecture maximises natural light while offering sweeping views of Kampala’s greenery, reinforcing the property’s long-standing identity as a resort-inspired urban retreat.

Sources familiar with the project indicate that construction has reached its final phase, with interior finishing and landscaping works underway ahead of an official launch expected soon.

The expansion will introduce premium serviced apartments, executive suites, upgraded wellness facilities and enhanced conference amenities tailored for corporate clients, expatriates and long-stay business travellers.

By combining residential comfort with hotel-grade services, the development is expected to strengthen Kampala’s positioning as a regional destination for conferences, investment and high-end tourism.

Industry analysts say the project aligns with the broader investment strategy of the Ruparelia Group, which continues to expand its footprint in real estate and hospitality amid rising demand for upscale accommodation and mixed-use developments.

The upgrade is also expected to create employment opportunities and stimulate economic activity in Bukoto and the wider Kampala metropolitan area.

As final works continue, anticipation is building ahead of the official unveiling, with stakeholders describing the expansion as a strong statement of confidence in Uganda’s luxury hospitality sector.
